When other autonomous robot mowers may lose signal or be affected by obstacles in built-up areas, meaning you would have to intervene to have them getting the job finished – the STIGA A 5000 autonomous robotic lawn mower, with the unique STIGA patented Active Guidance System (AGS) technology, memorises GPS signal quality at different times of day and intelligently plans ahead for the best results, by constantly communicating with its reference station through a 4G connection.
STIGA A 5000 autonomous robot mower knows exactly when, where, and how to cut your grass to keep your lawn healthy. With no cable to lay in your lawn, installation is fully virtual and carried out by your local STIGA dealer. The perimeter can adapt easily after installation using the STIGA Go.App if your garden layout may change.
Having STIGA ePower at its heart, combine with the RTK AGS technology based on a 4G signal, STIGA A 5000 can maintain absolute accuracy of location and plan the most methodical coverage and time efficient route. If a cutting area is not completed within a mowing cycle the robot remembers where it last finished and restarts from the same position after re-charging, so you can be assured of no over-cutting. To preserve lawn's health, we recommend scheduling just 2 cutting sessions a day; however, the scheduling is fully flexible.
With the option to set up to 10 different cutting zones in your garden you can not only cut the main lawn, but side areas and even the front garden as well; as the robot mower can travel through different zones over grass and paths with the blades switched off.
The organised systematic cutting patterns are significantly more efficient and the finely chopped grass clippings distribute down into the lawn, acting as a natural fertiliser, enhancing the health of your lawn. Programmed to cut during daylight hours, nocturnal animals can safely occupy the garden overnight.
